Study of Indian epics, mythological, and sacred plants
- Working on Indian sacred and other plants in Indian culture for about 10 years.
- Supervised several M.Phil and M.Sc. thesis on occurrence, cultivation, economic uses and conservation of sacred useful and mythological plants in central Indian region.
- Published a paper on sacred plants in and cultural traditions of Amarkantaka region in CSIR- Vigyan Pragati-2012.
- Prepared a paper on sacred plants in RAM CHARIT MANAS.

Gupta (on Plants in temple motifs), P. Lancastar (on sacred plants of Hindus), S. K. Jain (on Divine Plants of different religions), M.I.H. Farooqi (on Plants of Quran and Prophet Mohammad), P.C. Pandey (on Himalayan Sacred plants), D.C Pal (plants in Durga pooja), etc.
